What
People Say...

"Thank
you Russ Thompson - I have been to many training barns since I've become
a horse owner and it seems as though the "little person"
doesn't matter. At your training barn I found it to be different. I've
had so much fun and learned so much about the walking horse. Your
trainers, staff and facility are super!"

"We
want to thank God for our two beautiful Tennessee Walkers and
for all our new friends at Russ Thompson's Stables. Their
winning spirit and iron will of determination has captured our
hearts. We are so blessed to be a part of their family."

"Dear Russ
Thanks for everything! I'm excited to be getting Willie and
know he's a good horse. My first horse, something I've always
wanted"

"Dear Russ
Thank you so much, everyone at your stable, Trish, Paul, the
trainers, grooms, stable hands...all of them were terrific.
They just could not help me enough. I felt like royalty. Of
course, I love Honor. He is so beautiful. He is a little hyper
right now but I know he is going to settle right and make me a
wonderful horse. Everyone at Peacock admires him, and I tell
them he is from your stable. Thank Susie, she was so kind and
helpful with Honor's papers. I got them in the mail. Thanks
for the red carpet treatment!

"On
a mission to find that special walking horse for my daughter Laura
who suffers a severe muscle disorder which cripples her tiny body and
after much discouragement from traveling to so many barns, we finally
found the right combination for all of us. We were met by a friendly man
with a kind smile who didn't seem to mind Laura's crooked feet or hand
and her struggle to move about in the wheelchair. Instead we had met a
new friend who took her in his arms and held her securely on a horse.
Imagine the sensation of movement on a horse for a child confined to a
wheelchair. These people have an extraordinary talent and a love for
horses and people"
