Russ’s passion for the Tennessee Walking Horse started when he was a young teenager in Alabama on his Grandfather’s farm.

After doing well at a show in California, Russ was asked to train for another showman and since has gone on to win many awards and work successfully with many other horses and riders.

Russ made history training and showing Gen’s Armed & Dangerous by winning the 1st World Grand Championship in all divisions in 1994. He has since worked with other championship quality horses and riders, sharing his talent and knowledge in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry.
